Lisa
Salon Owner
My journey into the hairdressing world started when I was lucky enough to get a Saturday job in a hairdressers whilst still at school.
Once I finished school I was offered an apprenticeship and gained my NVQ in hairdressing at the age of 18. After qualifying as a stylist I
attended many Loreal colour courses and mens hair courses.

Then in 1997 The Hairport was born.
After all this time I feel very fortunate to have such a loyal clientele, many of whom I have been seeing since I first began.

I have a great team here that
work hard to give our clients a great experience. We strive to
offer a welcoming warm atmosphere catering for a range of age groups for women, men and children.

Currently I work within the salon 4 days a week.

Holly
Senior Stylist
I started working here at The Hairport in October 2022 after gaining my hairdressing qualifications in the summer of 2022.
I have progressed from where I started here as a Graduate Stylist to Stylist in November 2023 to now Senior Stylist in March 2026.
I love all things hair, but my passion is anything colour, a root touch up to complete colour transformation. I especially enjoy Balayage and making different looks with different techniques. My aim is to make everyone that sits in my chair leave the salon feeling confident about themselves.
I work full time Tuesday - Saturday.

Ellie
Graduate Stylist
Hi, Im Ellie.
I have joined The Hairport as a Graduate Stylist after finishing my hairdressing apprenticeship in January 2026 and gaining my NVQ level 2.
There are many aspects of hairdressing I enjoy from bouncy blow drys to balayage and everything in between. What I love about this job is to see my clients leaving the salon happy in themselves, giving someone that boost makes me feel like im making a difference to someones day.
Im looking forward to growing from a Graduate Stylist to Stylist.
Im here in the salon Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and saturday.
Look forward to meeting you all.
